| Shared note | Lorraine Virginia Fox of La Quinta, Calif., born October 22, 1928 in Compton, Calif. to Harry and Marie Kolstad, passed away at Eisenhower Medical Center in Rancho Mirage, Calif. on July 15, 2009. The youngest of eight children, she grew up during the depression and learned to be a generous, sharing person. Lorraine married her high school sweetheart, Norman, and they were together 62 years. She was a homemaker and had a talent for painting and drawing. Lorraine is survived by her loving husband, Norman Fox; daughters, Gayle Conyers, Lisa Stone, and Leslie Reick; five grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; and brother, Richard Kolstad. Lorraine now rests in God's loving arms. A Celebration of Life was held on Saturday, July 18, 2009, and her remains will be placed in her two favorite locations, the beach and Napa Valley. The family requests that donations be made to a favorite charity. |
